Make sure to check our general documentation on importing from other plugins as well. And don’t forget to make a backup!
If you have any Simple Recipe Pro recipes on your website they should automatically be detected and appear on the WP Recipe Maker > Import Recipes page. With the click of a button you can import the recipes you want.
Important: Simple Recipe Pro has a feature where it automatically replaces shortcodes by other recipe plugins to show their format instead. This means that you won’t be able to see the WP Recipe Maker format, even after importing.
To prevent this from happening, try removing anything WPRM related on the Simple Recipe Pro > Convert Recipes > Replacements page from the “Convert Patterns to Shortcode” and “Convert HTML to Shortcode” settings.
